Crossett Hill Round

A smaller version of our Vermont Miche that we named for the hill that Red Hen called home for our first 8 years. Made entirely with local wheat and rye flour, the Crossett is our take on the country loaves of Europe. Hearty, yet not too dense, this bread is especially good with sharp cheeses.
Ingredients: Unbleached wheat flour*, water, stoneground and sifted wheat flour*, whole rye flour*, culture, salt.
