We bake and deliver our breads seven days a week, assuring that every loaf on the rack is fresh, having left our oven only hours earlier.
You can find Red Hen Baking Co. breads at the Vermont and New Hampshire fine markets and restaurants below.
Our bread is also available through some Community Supported Agriculture programs at local farms. (link coming soon)

| If you're wondering how to get Red Hen bread outside of our delivery area, please read: |
We frequently get inquiries about shipping our bread out of state. It is always difficult to respond to these requests because, while it is flattering to hear that customers like our breads enough to pay to have it shipped to them, fresh bread is a hard item to ship.
As you might know, we bake bread and deliver it around the area every day of the year. We do this because we want our breads to be eaten fresh, right out of the paper bags we pack them in. Although most of our varieties keep well for up to two days after the day they're purchased, we believe in the experience of eating fresh bread. |
 |
|
| So we go through a great deal of effort to get fresh bread around to a good portion of Vermont (and even a little bit of New Hampshire), because we want people to have the opportunity to enjoy our breads the way they were meant to be eaten. |
|
When bread is shipped in the mail, you automatically get day-old bread-even if it is shipped by next day service. When you consider the cost of shipping, the whole deal could be called "day old bread at twice the price," which is not exactly something we want to be known for. For these reasons, we encourage you to buy our breads when you're in this neck of the woods and support the local bakeries in your area when you're not.

If you've read the above and we still didn't quell your desire to have Red Hen breads delivered to your door, contact us. With a good arm-twisting, and if you are willing to buy at least six loaves and pay for next day shipping, we have been known to ship breads, but don't say we didn't warn you!
