Wholesale FAQs
1How do I place, change or establish a recurring order?
Your first order should be set up with our Wholesale Manager, Jorah McKinley. Once your account is established you place orders via phone to 802-223-5200, x.10, or use our Wholesale Inquiries form. Messages will be picked up daily at 12pm and 3pm, with 3pm being the cutoff for orders to be delivered two days hence. Please add an extra day if you are ordering sliced bread.
2What is the order cut-off time if I already have an account?
Orders placed before 3pm will be submitted during business hours, 7 days a week for delivery 2 days after (i.e for Thursday delivery orders must be in by 4pm on Tuesday). Please add an extra day if you are ordering sliced bread. If we receive your order after hours it will most likely not be submitted until the following day.
3How far from the bakery in Middlesex, VT does Red Hen deliver?
We deliver within about 60 miles of the bakery, going North to Winooski and south to White River Junction and the Upper Valley. If you are outside of our delivery area we can make arrangements to have bread delivered for an additional fee. The charge for this service is approximately $10 for an $80 order, please call 802-223-5200 x10 for more details.
4What times do you deliver?
Our drivers leave Red Hen at approximately 5 am, one truck headed North, one South. Deliveries to the Burlington area are completed by approx. 9am, same for the Upper Valley in the South. Call or email for a more precise estimate of when our bread would get to you.
5What days do you deliver?
We bake and deliver our bread 7 days a week, 360 days per year (no delivery on Thanksgiving or Christmas).
6Does Red Hen wholesale Pastries?
The short answer is "No."

7Does Red Hen cater weddings?
We regularly supply bread to caterers across Vermont for weddings and other occasions. Just have your caterer get in touch with us to make arrangements.
