Our Ingredient Sourcing



Where our food comes from and how it's made---not just how it tastes---is important to us. We also believe in most cases, sound and responsible agriculture and food preparation practices result in better food. We spend our days working carefully with our raw ingredients, so it is important to us that those ingredients were handled with the same care that we take in transforming them into our creations.

Whether it's a pastry, a loaf of bread, a cup of coffee, or a sandwich, we worry about the details when it comes to ingredient selection. In many cases we have developed relationships with the farmers and craftspeople (coffee roasters, butter makers, millers) that produce our food. We believe that making these connections makes us better able to do our job.

99% of our wheat and rye is grown and milled within 300 miles of our bakery, and we've developed close partnerships with the farmers and millers.

Your order will be ready at the time indicated on your confirmation (usually in 15-20 minutes).

Our creemee window will be open through Monday from 11-6.
